PROJECT FOR SILVER JUBILEE HOME REHABILITATION CENTRE
On 20 November 2008, I organized a Prayer Ceremony to pray to Jade Emperor (God of Heaven) in conjunction with Thean Seah Day (day when Jade Emperor forgives us for our wrong doings in our past and present lives.
We believe that after Jade Emperor has forgiven us on Thean Seah Day my friends and I wanted to do some charity in appreciation of Jade Emperor. On that day we also organized 32 tables of vegetarian course lunch for the residents of the Silver Jubilee Home. During the luncheon a cheque for RM101,550/- was presented to the Silver Jubilee Home, Sungai Dua, Penang for the Silver Jubilee Home Rehabilitation Centre from the donations collected from myself and my friends. We also gave red packets to all the residents at the Silver Jubilee Home.
